Somehow I was unable to get the last few pictures larger so here is the last one again.

Wax hot
Decided it was time to play with some hot  bees wax.

I began by collecting some materials together.
The primed board,  pattern tissue and two pieces of background paper.
I coated the board with two coats of wax and built up the layers of various paper, brushing on more wax as I went.

After waxing on the dragonfly I decided to remove it's body then draw it in with pen.

I added a little colour on the left and some stencilling at the top and some paper below.

Impermanence

After visiting a very artistic antique shop on the road north of Auckland I was taken with this rusting watering can. I have been playing around with it for a few days. I felt it needed a title so I called it   Impermanence  .

Worring takes away todays peace

Yesterday I went to Matakana Saturday market, what a live bustling place it is and great for
for photography ....was that why I went ?
After the market I looked around the town where I stumbled upon this delightful shop round the back of the main street. I asked if I could photograph the bowls that were on display, they instantly appealed and I felt a picture coming on. Here it is
with a little manipulation of course.
