Much of my time this last week has been spent on a mid winter spring clean
trying to clear the clutter. I have however managed to have a little play with
some wax. I called these Geocaustics. They are on very small test boards which I would like to redo on a larger scale.

New Sadly last week my mobile phone finally gave up the ghost. It has done me well apparently it is twelve years old ! So it was decision time re replacement. Samsung v Apple?
However a decision has been made and I went for the Apple. I couldn't believe how much art time this has taken up. Now I am enjoying playing with it. I have been very surprised at the quality of photos it takes.

Market
Last Sunday afternoon I was at Brown's Bay indoor market. I was selling my photo art on acrylic. I was pleased that I sold a few and will be going again this week. Though it takes time to pack up and set up the work I found it fun and enjoyable. Many thanks to those who came by and chatted to me. If you want to pop along it is held in The Leisure Centre Bute Road Brown's Bay. Love to see you there.

Fog over the harbour
This was taken going over Auckland harbour bridge from out of the car window. It was a beautiful Autumn foggy morning with the sun just rising.

There has been very little to report these last few weeks due to visitors arriving from Canada. The place has been buzzing with much coming and going and constant meals. After a couple of days recovery time things are gradually getting back to normality. I took time out to attend a fibre, textile and metal art course and found it fascinating and fun. I really enjoyed this section designing in metal ( copper ) heating it to change it's colour to be later integrated into other work.
To add more colour after heating we painted small areas with alcohol ink.
