Impermanence

After visiting a very artistic antique shop on the road north of Auckland I was taken with this rusting watering can. I have been playing around with it for a few days. I felt it needed a title so I called it   Impermanence  .

  1. Well that's a puzzle Liz, as it looks like it will be around for a long time yet and look more and more interesting as it ages. I would call it "retirement" as it no longer has to carry water and nurture others but just lets everything flow through - being, not doing.

  2. Retirement is a good word but even that is impermanent.
